Job Title: CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Tact Staff. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for coordinating and producing high-quality computerized tomography (CT) studies and assisting in CT-guided procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform quality CT examinations for review by interpreting physicians.
  • Coordinate the performance of CT examinations according to physician order/protocol.
  • Protocol ordered examinations according to established guidelines and clinical history.
  • Perform venipuncture and medication administration with a focus on safety and effectiveness.
  • Accurately document care in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Assess patients prior to the performance of the study to ensure safety and cooperation.
  • Educate patients, answer concerns/questions, prior to the execution of the CT exam.
  • Demonstrate proficiency when working with picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) to transmit, archive, and retrieve digital images.
Requirements:
  • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
  • Successful graduation from a Joint Commission-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Sciences.
  • ARRT - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • ARRT - CT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist.
  • IV Certification.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
  • RHF - Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 days of hire.
Preferred Experience:
  • Previous experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Must be knowledgeable in cross-sectional anatomy and technical factors.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with multiple computerized systems.
  • Demonstrate proficiency when working with PACS to transmit, archive, and retrieve digital images.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements.
