Key Responsibilities
  • Production Leadership: Supervise and coordinate production operations, including scheduling, time management, and performance evaluations.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety regulations, and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and areas for employee development, and provide guidance and support to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze production processes and identify opportunities for improvement, and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless production operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma required; 2- or 4-Year degree from an accredited University preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience leading people and supervising processes in a manufacturing facility.
  • Skills: Demonstrated leadership skills, clear effective communication skills, experience with KPIs and production metrics, understanding of SQF, HACCP, OSHA, and other similar food quality/safety systems.
