Under the direction of an RN, the LPN provides comprehensive care to patients and their families, encompassing physical, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual dimensions. This includes administering medical treatments and participating in rehabilitation and medically complex nursing units as needed.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality patient care, prioritizing individual needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the RN.
- Participate in patient education, promoting health literacy and self-care.
- Current CT LPN License required.
- Patient care/Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross BLS Certification required.
24 Hours per week/Night shift (11:15 pm-7:15 am) Rotating weekends and holidays.
