Position Overview:

As a Registered Nurse at St. Luke's Hospital (MO), you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, educating, and evaluating a designated group of patients in accordance with all established Nursing Standards and Hospital Policies. You will also be responsible for managing all assigned supplies and equipment on the unit, promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team, and performing duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.

Requirements:

  • Education: Nursing Degree
  • Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri
  • Experience: 1 year of telemetry RN experience
