Job Summary:

At Versova Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Flock Specialist to join our team. As a Flock Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our chickens. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the highest standards of animal care and welfare, while also ensuring the efficient operation of our poultry farm.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the fair and ethical treatment of livestock, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Remove daily mortality from all cages and maintain a clean and safe environment for the animals.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including fixing egg jams, replacing light bulbs, and cleaning water and feed systems.
Collaborate with the management team to review and analyze production records, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Assist the pest control team with our pest control initiatives and maintain the overall cleanliness of the hen house and surrounding areas.

Requirements:

Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Effective communication (written/verbal) skills.
Ability to work in various climate conditions and perform all job duties of the position.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Skills:

Bilingual.
