Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Liaison: Serve as a liaison and representative of the residents' social interests, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
- Department Operations: Assist in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of the Social Services Department.
- Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a human services field, including but not limited to sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, or psychology.
- Licensure and Certification: Licensure or certification as a social worker in the state of PA.
- Experience: At least one year of relevant experience, with experience in Skilled Nursing preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with residents, staff, and external partners.
