Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our team at Montezuma-Cortez High School. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment that fosters academic growth and achievement in mathematics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state and national standards for mathematics education.
  • Provide individualized instruction and support to students to ensure they meet their academic goals.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that promote academic excellence.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress and involve them in their child's education.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Valid Colorado teaching certification in Mathematics.
  • Experience teaching mathematics in a high school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
