- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical, mental, or emotional conditions to appropriate personnel.
- Support clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathroom assistance, bathing, dressing, and oral care.
- Engage clients in enjoyable activities such as games, walks, or conversations to foster social interaction.
- Perform essential housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Assist clients with managing household finances, including bills and payments, and running errands as needed.
- Accompany clients on outings and coordinate transportation for medical appointments.
- Provide mobility assistance, including help with walking aids and wheelchairs.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic living environment for clients.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Certification as a Personal Care Assistant is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required.
- Thorough understanding of best practices in personal care is essential.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
