Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with a variety of medical diagnoses, including metabolic disorders, cardiovascular problems, renal patients, and respiratory conditions.
- Administer medications, assist with procedures and examinations, and instruct patients and their families in appropriate care.
- Monitor patient vital signs, chart results of various tests, and report changes to appropriate personnel.
- Assist with patient transfers, lifts, and positioning, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients and families.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.
- 1 year of relevant experience in a medical telemetry or similar setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
