Job Summary

Qualcomm is seeking an experienced software engineer to work directly with PC game developers worldwide, driving game optimizations to create exceptional experiences for the Snapdragon chipset. This role involves collaborating with game developers and partners to optimize CPU, GPU, and system performance for legacy and new games on Snapdragon.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with game developers and partners to optimize game performance on Snapdragon

Develop and implement optimization strategies for CPU, GPU, and system performance

Work with cross-functional teams to evangelize best practices and optimization strategies within the game development community

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, and 4+ years of software engineering experience

Strong knowledge of C/C++, OpenGL, DirectX, or Vulkan, and 3D graphics-related mathematics

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work with unfamiliar code bases

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in software engineering

Familiarity with commercial game engines, such as Unreal and Unity

Experience creating technical training content, such as frameworks, samples, and tutorials
