Job Overview

A highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is needed to provide locum coverage for a medical center in eastern Kentucky. This opportunity presents a chance to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing strong anesthesiology skills and expertise.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing anesthesia services for various types of cases, including general surgery, orthopedics, pain management, and others. The ideal candidate will have experience working with MedAxion EMR and be proficient in ultrasound-guided blocks.

Work Schedule and Call Requirements

The schedule for this position includes solo work during two shifts: 7a-3p and 3p-7a. Weeknight call is required, as well as 24-hour weekend call on a rotating basis. The ratio of weekend call is 3:1, ensuring that the selected candidate has adequate time off between calls.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • AANA certification
  • Active and unrestricted license to practice nursing in the state of Kentucky
  • DEA registration

The selected candidate will be expected to maintain their certification and licensure throughout their tenure with LocumConnections. Additionally, they will be required to adhere to all relevant laws and regulations governing the practice of nursing in the state of Kentucky.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $250,000 to $300,000 per annum, depending on the candidate's level of experience and qualifications. Please note that this figure is subject to change based on market conditions and other factors. Beyond the competitive salary, candidates can expect to receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
