About the Role

Soliant Education is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Glen Cove, NY. As a key member of our team, you will work directly with students to support their development and provide high-quality occupational therapy services.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of students' occupational therapy needs and develop individualized therapy plans to address their unique requirements.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services, including individual and group sessions, to support students' development and progress.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.
  • Progress Tracking and Documentation: Track and document student progress to inform therapy plans and ensure accountability.
  • IEP Meetings and Goal-Setting: Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting to ensure students receive the support they need.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Licensure: Valid Occupational Therapist license in New York.
  • Certification: NBCOT certification preferred.
  • Experience: Experience working with school-aged children is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills.
Compensation
  • Hourly Rate: Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
