We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Team Member - Operating Room Assistant to join our team

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

Job Description

As a Surgical Team Member - Operating Room Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our surgical teams during procedures. Your responsibilities will include preparing the operating room, performing assigned support duties, and assisting with patient care. You will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless operations and excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing the operating room for procedures.
  • Perform assigned support duties during surgeries.
  • Help maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient procedures.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A current TN licensure or National Certification as an Orthopedic Physician Assistant, Certified ORT, RN, or Doctorate of Medicine.
  • High school or GED required; graduate of accredited programs in Physician Assistant, Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT), RN, or MD.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • One-year surgical assistant experience preferred.
