Job Title: Laborer-Class A CDL Driver

We are seeking a skilled Laborer-Class A CDL Driver to join our team at BrandSafway. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely driving company vehicles and equipment, assisting with field activities, and performing various tasks related to our cathodic protection and corrosion prevention services.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive company vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assist with field activities, including loading and unloading equipment and supplies
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on company vehicles
  • Responsible for securing cargo and maintaining DOT logs
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and other related tasks
  • Assist with inventorying crew trucks and ensuring all necessary equipment and materials are stocked
  • Perform yard maintenance and other duties as requested by supervisor
Requirements:
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A CDL) from state of residence
  • Minimum 3 months driving experience
  • Must successfully pass a minimum of a 6-month DOT physical, pre-placement drug screen, and satisfactory background check
  • Must have acceptable driving record in accordance with MATCOR/Brand's Vehicle Policy
  • Ability to work safely and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in performing work in the field
  • Ability to use an electronic time tracking system
  • Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs.
  • Must be willing to travel 75-100%
  • Must be willing to work long hours, including 12-hour shifts
