We are currently seeking applications for a Full-time Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide care and support to patients in our Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program. The program operates Monday to Friday, with morning and weekend hours. RNs will have schedules arranged to work 37.5 hours per week, with no requirement to work every weekend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a thorough understanding of the Outpatient Treatment Program (OTP) environment.
  • Administer medications to clients while ensuring adherence to physician-prescribed treatments and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions, treatments, and progress.
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments for new clients, gathering essential information for personalized care.
  • Measure vital signs and assist with physical examinations as required or as directed by the physician.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who are licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing as an RN or possess a license with multi-state practice privileges under the Nurse Licensure Compact. Experience with substance use disorder and mental health populations is preferred but not mandatory.
