Cafe Ambassador OpportunityWe are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cafe Ambassador at the Memphis Chess Club. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing beverages and food, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in the service industry, preferably as a barista or server, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including coffee, tea, and mixed drinks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless execution of events and daily operations.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 18 years old and willing to acquire an ABC Server Permit within 60 days of hire date.
  • Previous experience in the service industry, preferably as a barista or server.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.

Estimated Salary: $32,000 - $40,000 per year
