We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopaedic Advanced Practitioner to join our team at Geisinger. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physician assistant and nurse practitioner roles, with experience in adult reconstruction.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and establishing presumptive diagnoses, implementing treatment plans, and making accurate entries into the electronic medical record. They will also be expected to order and interpret diagnostic testing, consult as necessary, and prescribe appropriate medical therapy.

In addition to these responsibilities, the advanced practitioner will perform procedures within their scope of practice, communicate effectively with collaborating physicians, patients, PCPs, and referring staff, and provide safe and ethical care to patients of all ages.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Physician Assistant or a Master's Degree in Nurse Practitioner, with certification as a Certified Physician Assistant. A Master's Degree in Physician Assistant is preferred.
