Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Specialist to join our team at Summit Place at South Park in Charlotte, NC.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to support residents with daily tasks and administer medications. As a certified caregiver, you will be responsible for administering daily medications and providing assistance with essential day-to-day tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver routine daily medications to residents
  • Record medication dosages and times
  • Observe residents and document changes in their condition
  • Gather samples for analysis
  • Ensure equipment is routinely inspected and cleaned
  • Uphold all health and safety standards
  • Coordinate with nurses to assist with resident care and medications
  • Respond to resident emergency call signals
  • Protect confidential client information
  • Seek guidance from the nurse as needed to perform tasks safely and efficiently
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Successful completion of a state-approved Medication Aide course
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 18 years old
  • Strong emotional intelligence and listening skills
  • Dedication to the medical field
  • PASSING STATE AND COMPANY BACKGROUND CHECKS AND DRUG TESTS
  • Reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Working experience alone, on a team, and on projects start to finish
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
