Pure Cycle Corporation is actively seeking a skilled Water Resource Engineer to enhance our engineering division. This role is pivotal as we embark on the development of extensive land projects, focusing on essential water and wastewater utility frameworks and the expansion of water rights to accommodate our growing clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee water and wastewater infrastructure initiatives, which encompass wells, surface water diversions, treatment facilities, storage solutions, and distribution networks. This includes comprehensive project management duties such as surveying, obtaining regulatory approvals, and ensuring compliance with permitting requirements.
- Generate detailed reports and assist in contractual agreements with various water and wastewater stakeholders.
- Monitor and assess infrastructure acceptance documentation post-construction, including inspection footage and pressure testing results.
- Analyze water consumption data and support water rights management, including the administration of tap fee applications and invoicing processes.
- Develop visual aids and application documents for diverse projects.
- Contribute to the enhancement of water billing processes, District regulations, and design standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of experience in the water/wastewater sector.
- Possession of a Colorado PE License or the capability to secure licensure within two years of employment.
- Water/Wastewater Operator Licenses are advantageous.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft software, and familiarity with surveying tools and GIS software is beneficial.
- A valid Colorado driver's license in good standing is required.
- The role may involve physical activities such as standing, walking on uneven terrain, and occasional lifting of items under 45 lbs.
