Ultrasound Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Blake Hospital. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform abdominal, pelvic, and transvaginal sonograms
  • Scan small parts, including thyroid, breasts, and scrotum, as well as ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations
  • Have a strong knowledge base in cross-sectional anatomy and vasculature
  • Display high proficiency in scanning knowledge
  • Perform upper and lower arterial and venous vascular studies, including carotid studies with measurements and manipulation, augmentations, and segmental pressures
  • Be proficient in performing complete echocardiographic studies, including 2-D mode and color Doppler studies
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited ultrasound program
  • RDMS in Abdomen/OB-GYN or RVT
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience in General, Breast, and Vascular ultrasound
  • CPR or BLS within 30 days of hire
