Job Title: Skier Services Manager Winter Season

At Westgate Resorts, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Skier Services Manager to join our team for the winter season. As a key member of our resort operations team, you will be responsible for managing the overall performance of the Skier Services department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of Skier Services staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent guest service and efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty, while maintaining high standards of service quality.
  • Collaborate with other resort departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.
  • Manage inventory and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are available for guest use.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services and products.
  • Monitor and analyze departmental performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all resort policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a resort or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of resort operations and guest services, with a focus on ski and snowboard equipment management.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment, as well as work in all outdoor weather conditions.
