We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health team at Phelps Hospital. This is a unique opportunity to support a 22-bed 28-day substance use rehabilitation unit providing acute and around-the-clock care to patients 18 years old and older.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, individualized treatment by an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, behavioral health counselors, licensed social workers, and recreational therapists.
- Collaborate with the admissions department for clinically reviewed and coordinated admissions.
- Nationally competitive salary: $250,000 per year
- Comprehensive benefits package, including four weeks' vacation plus paid conference/CME time
- Academic appointment in the Department of Psychiatry at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell
