Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer II to join our Engineering Department at ESPEC North America Inc. As an Electrical Engineer II, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems, testing and troubleshooting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and release changes to existing schematic/panel layout using engineering best practices, create and release models, assemblies, and schematics, and understand Bill of Material structures and basic ERP function.
  • Chamber Design and Testing: Understand the basic function of test chambers (electrical/refrigeration), design custom heater assembly using heat calculation program, and troubleshoot basic PLC ladder program/HMI programs.
  • Engineering and Innovation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth, design and release basic to more complex custom modifications to a standard ENA chamber model, and follow engineering group procedures and ISO standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 3 years' experience in electrical schematic/panel layout design
  • PLC ladder logic and HMI programming experience preferred
  • AutoCAD Electrical experience required
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills
  • A commitment and willingness to work and communicate with all departments to resolve issues in a timely manner
