As a Clinical Audiologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and education. Your expertise will be essential in evaluating patient hearing status, auditory pathway function, and communicative function. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all services provided.**Key Responsibilities:**+ Interpret and report test results to facilitate medical diagnosis+ Provide counseling and education about hearing loss, hearing aids, and communication to patients and their families+ Perform electroacoustic analysis of hearing aids+ Perform hearing aid checks and minor repairs of hearing aids+ Provide direct and indirect supervision of student externs, clinical fellows, fourth-year Au.D students, and otolaryngology residents, as requested+ Assist with planning, budget, service, or project development, fee setting, purchase of new equipment or materials+ Perform daily and monthly equipment checks and biological calibrations+ Assist with electroacoustic calibration of equipment, as needed**Requirements:**+ Doctorate in Audiology (AuD)+ Current employees may be grandfathered with Master's degree in Audiology+ Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiolog license to practice audiology upon hire+ Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology license to practice audiology upon start date+ Obtain certificate of Clinical Competence Audiology (CCC-A) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) within new hire period+ Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), Supervised Professional Experience (SPE) Year, or equivalent+ Broad knowledge of diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology clinical skills
