You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all services provided.**Key Responsibilities:**+ Interpret and report test results to facilitate medical diagnosis+ Provide counseling and education about hearing loss, hearing aids, and communication to patients and their families+ Perform electroacoustic analysis of hearing aids+ Perform hearing aid checks and minor repairs of hearing aids+ Provide direct and indirect supervision of student externs, clinical fellows, fourth-year Au.D students, and otolaryngology residents, as requested+ Assist with planning, budget, service, or project development, fee setting, purchase of new equipment or materials+ Perform daily and monthly equipment checks and biological calibrations+ Assist with electroacoustic calibration of equipment, as needed**Requirements:**+ Doctorate in Audiology (AuD)+ Current employees may be grandfathered with Master's degree in Audiology+ Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiolog license to practice audiology upon hire+ Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology license to practice audiology upon start date+ Obtain certificate of Clinical Competence Audiology (CCC-A) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) within new hire period+ Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), Supervised Professional Experience (SPE) Year, or equivalent+ Broad knowledge of diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology clinical skills
