We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team, working remotely from the comfort of their own home. As a Teletherapy Speech Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students by providing virtual therapy sessions using advanced teletherapy platforms.
About the Role
This remote Speech Language Pathologist position requires a minimum of 1+ years experience in speech therapy, with a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and certification from ASHA. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication abilities, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment findings, and collaborating effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and achievement.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment findings.
- Provide virtual therapy sessions using teletherapy platforms to address speech and language disorders, including articulation, language delays, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and achievement.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation required for IEP meetings and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- California state licensure (CTC) or eligibility for licensure to practice speech-language pathology.
- Previous experience working as a speech-language pathologist in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, parents, and administrators.
