Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead our project team and ensure the successful completion of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and lead a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Integrate all assigned phases of the project into the whole, including quality control, safety, and personnel management.
  • Supervise and coach staff, providing regular constructive feedback to train and develop.
  • Develop the entire 4-week schedule from start to finish and be able to modify it.
  • Run pre-cons and manage subcontractor correspondence.
  • Identify and resolve issues during construction.
  • Ensure safety, compliance, and quality regulations are followed.
  • Communicate project progress with clients and project managers on a regular basis.
  • Manage and collaborate with subcontractors to address project needs.
  • Plan inspections and obtain construction permits from local authorities.
  • Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and organized.
Requirements:
  • Requires 5-7 years' experience leading the construction of multi-family housing (ground up, podium style).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various trades (MEP, structural details, sitework/utilities).
  • Skill in reading project plans and specifications with the ability to complete a full plan and spec review for a project.
  • In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience with the ability to coach and train subordinate staff.
  • Strong project management and communications skills.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Procore.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire.
