Responsibilities

The Primary Care Physician will be responsible for:

  • Patient Care: Diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans, and conducting thorough medical examinations and histories.
  • Communication: Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, providing clear and concise medical information, and fostering a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
  • Documentation: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with coding and billing regulations.
  • Diagnostic Procedures: Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, performing procedures as needed, and collaborating with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborating with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals, participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions, and providing consultative services to other healthcare providers.
  • Quality Improvement: Participating in quality assurance and improvement initiatives, reviewing and analyzing clinical outcomes for continuous improvement, and implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Compliance: Adhering to ethical and legal standards in medical practice, staying informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, and participating in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Continuous Learning: Staying abreast of medical advancements and best practices, participating in ongoing medical education and training, and contributing to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
  • A valid and unrestricted state medical license

Pay Range: $167.52 - $175.90 per hour
