About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our team at Ascend Rehab. As a Speech Language Pathology Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing essential therapy to children in the San Jose area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality therapy services to children.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized therapy plans.
  • Provide support to children with speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure a smooth transition of care.
Requirements
  • Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
  • Knowledge of techniques for speech, language, communication, and articulation disorders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications
  • Must have a CA State Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License.
  • Must have a CA State Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License in process/pending.
  • Be comfortable working with children.

License/Certification
  • CA SLPA License (Required).
  • CA SLPA License (pending, already started process).
