Overview:

Graphic Designer

The August Schell Brewing Company is on the lookout for a dedicated Graphic Designer to enhance our Marketing department. This role will work closely with the Marketing Director and collaborate with both Marketing and Sales teams to execute strategies vital for the growth of our Schells and Grain Belt Brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, design, and produce both digital and print materials, including promotional items and point-of-sale displays.
  • Create graphics and layouts for branding, websites, and product packaging.
  • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines while maintaining a unique identity for each brand.
  • Follow specifications, templates, and color standards across various print production partners.
  • Collaborate with local distributors and clients to design and produce signage.
  • Deliver high-quality, professional designs using software for detailed illustrations, mockups, and animations as required.
  • Provide photography and videography services, operating necessary equipment.
  • Edit and produce video content for social media and web platforms.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Review proofs and final designs to guarantee content quality and accuracy.
  • Complete additional projects as assigned.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the workspace.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and the ability to cultivate strong relationships within and outside the organization.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Capable of multitasking and solving problems in a dynamic environment.
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic and accountability.
  • Attention to detail and effective time management skills are crucial.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the beverage industry.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, desktop publishing, graphics, photo imaging, video production, and WordPress.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with the beverage industry.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to alternate between sitting and standing for extended periods.
  • Capability to climb stairs and ladders, as well as crouch, kneel, and stoop as necessary.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with assistance.
