Job Summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a skilled Admissions Counselor to join our team at Rolling Hills. As a key member of our Admissions team, you will be responsible for the timely processing of inquiry/referral calls and walk-in/scheduled clinical assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Process inquiries and referrals in a timely and efficient manner
  • Conduct clinical assessments to determine the most appropriate level of care for patients
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed to ensure patient safety
  • Collaborate with the Admissions team to ensure referrals are directed to the most appropriate level of care

Requirements

  • RN License preferred; Master's Degree in Behavioral Health Field (e.g. Counseling, Social Work, Psychology) considered
  • Current Tennessee Driver's License
  • Current HWC and CPR Certification (training provided)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in psychiatric evaluation, triage, and crisis stabilization
  • Strong assessment skills
  • Skills in application of DSM methodology
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and tact
  • Ability to interact effectively with persons of widely diverse roles, backgrounds, cultures, and socio-economic classes
