Communications Specialist

The Milford School District NH is seeking a skilled Communications Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for providing assessment, evaluation, and treatment services to students with communication disorders. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of student communication skills and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to address communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to integrate speech and language therapy into classroom instruction.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and teachers.
Requirements:
- Masters or equivalent degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the New Hampshire Department of Allied Health.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time, 10-month position. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. We offer a competitive salary, commensurate with experience, estimated at $65,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on qualifications and certifications.
