We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Medical University of South Carolina. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will report to the Manager and work under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Key responsibilities include providing individualized, goal-directed, and family-centered patient care. The LPN will demonstrate proficiency according to the laws governing nursing in South Carolina and deliver safe and effective care while interacting with other members of the healthcare team.
Requirements- Completion of a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program;
- Minimum of six months experience as an LPN required;
- Licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state;
- A current CPR card is required;
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing;
- Computer literacy.
The successful candidate must be able to perform job functions while standing, sitting, and walking. They should also be able to climb stairs, work indoors, and withstand temperature extremes. Additionally, they should be able to lift and carry 50 lbs unassisted and exert up to 50 lbs of force when needed.
Salary InformationThe estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
