We are seeking a skilled Correctional Nurse Specialist to join our team at Staff Today. As a Correctional Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a correctional setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to inmates in a correctional facility
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to physicians
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Virginia
- Experience working in a correctional setting
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days and nights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
