Key Responsibilities:- Produce high-quality ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for diagnostic purposes.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to capture detailed images of organs and tissues.
- Position patients for examination and explain procedures to reduce anxiety.
- Key test data and patient information into computer systems for accurate record-keeping.
- Supervise new hires and provide training as needed.
- Equivalent of three years of continuous ultrasound experience within the last six years.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Three certifications from the following list: Reg Diagnostic Med Sonographer Pediatric Sonography Certification, Reg Diagnostic Med Sonographer Fetal Echocardiography Certification, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echocardiogram Certificate, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate - Breast, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate - Abdomen, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Certificate, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate - Ob-Gyn, Basic Life Support.
