- Serves as a proactive and collaborative partner within the care team, responding readily to colleagues' needs for support.

- Identifies opportunities for quality enhancement and takes personal responsibility for improving patient satisfaction.

Qualifications:
The candidate must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and interact appropriately with patients of varying ages.
They should demonstrate an understanding of growth and development principles and be able to assess and interpret data reflective of each patient's status to meet their age-specific needs.
Minimum 2 years of experience required. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Candidates must achieve a satisfactory performance evaluation to be considered for promotion and maintain that standard annually.
Licensure and Certifications:
Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in the practicing state is required. UPMC-approved nursing certification is mandatory and must be maintained. Certification is not required if a Master's degree in nursing is held. Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is required based on AHA standards.
