Pediatric Emergency Department Registered Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Emergency Department team at Ascension Sacred Heart. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in the emergency department, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, medication administration, and other relevant data.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification within 6 months of hire.
  • BLS certification within 1 month of hire.
  • 1-2 years of experience in pediatric emergency nursing or a related field.
