The Davis Community is a distinguished senior living environment, committed to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to uphold our standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our community.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Housekeeper is responsible for performing comprehensive cleaning duties across various areas, ensuring a pristine and welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests alike. This includes maintaining resident cottages, communal spaces, dining areas, and other essential facilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute daily cleaning tasks as per the established schedule, ensuring all areas are sanitized and well-maintained.
- Conduct regular inspections of vacant units to ensure they are kept in a fresh and inviting condition.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including vacuums and carpet cleaners, while adhering to safety protocols.
- Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Follow infection control guidelines to maintain a safe environment for all residents.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This role requires physical exertion, including standing, walking, and lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs. The Housekeeper will work in a clean, well-lit environment, with exposure to various cleaning agents and materials.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- No formal education is required; however, prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions is essential.
- Must be able to work collaboratively with residents, families, and staff to foster a respectful and caring community.
