Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Image Processing Specialist to join our team at Maxar Technologies.

The successful candidate will have experience in image processing and software development, with a strong background in mathematical solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop software applications that run efficiently on large images and are ready for operational environments.
  • Apply software development methodologies (Agile) to produce high-quality, extensible, and maintainable software packages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Build and improve on automated test and verification software and tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Programming skills in Python and/or C++
  • Version control experience in Git (GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket)
  • Experience in implementing software using mathematical solutions
  • US Citizen able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance with required Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technology fields
  • 3+ years of experience in related fields

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is between $71,000.00 and $152,000.00 annually.
