POSITION SUMMARY:

As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Clinical Nutrition Specialist delivers exceptional nutrition services by collaborating with a diverse group of health professionals. This role is essential in promoting health, managing existing conditions, and providing interventions for both acute and chronic health issues.

The specialist will implement medical nutrition therapy tailored to each patient’s needs, following physician directives and adhering to the standards set by the Clinical Nutrition Department.

This position requires flexibility to provide coverage across multiple facilities as necessary.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field
  • Less than 2 years of relevant experience
  • CDR - Commission on Dietetic Registration certification is mandatory
  • MD Board of Dietetic Practice certification is required

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Please be aware that all new hires must complete the first dose of the COVID-19 Vaccination Series prior to their Occupational Health pre-employment assessment. Additionally, they must schedule to complete the vaccination series within the first thirty (30) days of employment.
