Clinical Specialist

Mount Prospect Academy is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality behavioral services to our clients.

• Develop and implement individualized behavior plans to address client needs and goals.
• Conduct functional behavioral assessments and analyses to identify underlying causes of client behavior.
• Provide direct behavioral therapy services to clients, including individual and group sessions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
• Provide training and supervision to support staff on behavioral interventions and strategies.
• Stay current with best practices in behavioral therapy and apply this knowledge to improve client outcomes.

• Master's degree in a related field, such as psychology, special education, or social work.
• BCBA certification or eligibility for certification.
• Experience working with clients with behavioral challenges, preferably in a residential or clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of behavioral principles and theories, including applied behavior analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and staff.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
