Position Overview
We are currently in search of a Special Education Teacher Assistant for our School Age program.

- Full-Time position, Monday through Friday
- Working hours: 8:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.
- Assist the lead teacher in daily operations within an elementary Special Education classroom.
- Engage in the execution of daily schedules and lesson plans tailored for each student, ensuring alignment with NYS Prekindergarten Foundation for the Common Core Standards or NYS Common Core Standards, utilizing authentic assessment data to promote school readiness and meet IEP objectives.
- Exhibit effective teaching methodologies, including prompting, pacing, and reinforcement strategies, while being mindful of potential behavioral challenges.
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $42,024.00 annually
Qualifications:
Position Requirements: Certification Levels I-III, Associate's degree or 60 college credits / Certification Levels I-III Bachelor's or Master's degree. Salary is commensurate with educational qualifications.
Support for obtaining RBT Certification will be provided.
