Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. The successful candidate will work in a school setting, assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech and language skills, using standardized tests, observations, and parent/teacher input.
- Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and educational goals based on assessment results, providing direct therapy services to students to address issues such as articulation, fluency, voice disorders, and language delays.
- IEP Development and Management: Collaborate with educational teams to develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs, monitoring and documenting student progress towards IEP goals.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom environment, providing guidance and support to teachers and parents on strategies to enhance students' communication skills.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and confidential records of student evaluations, therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant documentation, preparing and submitting reports for IEP meetings, parent communication, and school evaluations as required.
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure and Certification: Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred, or eligibility to obtain.
- Experience: Previous experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school or pediatric setting is preferred, experience with IEP development and implementation is advantageous.
