We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at US Foods. As a key member of our delivery operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Safely Operate a Commercial Vehicle: Drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times, ensuring the safe transportation of products.
- Unload Products: Carefully unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, and place them in designated customer storage areas.
- Verify Delivery Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures.
- Handle Collections and Payments: Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience.
- Perform Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Valid CDL Class A: Must have a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
- Commercial Driving Experience: Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required.
- Ability to Read and Communicate in English: Must be able to read and communicate in the English language, able to hold a conversation, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and enter information on reports and records.
