About This Role

We are seeking a qualified Driving Instructor to educate and advise students while teaching them the fundamentals of operating a car behind the wheel. As a Driving Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching practical skills related to all aspects of driving, providing instruction on the rules of the road, and helping students to develop confidence in their driving skills.

Responsibilities
  • Teach students the fundamentals of driving, including vehicle control and safety procedures
  • Provide instruction on the rules of the road and safe driving practices
  • Help students develop confidence in their driving skills through hands-on training and feedback
  • Document and report on students' progress
  • Maintain timely communication with your supervisor and support team
  • Maintain professionalism with students and fellow team members
  • Attend team meetings for updates and ongoing development
Qualifications
  • A genuine passion for helping people learn and develop new skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in a learning environment
  • A valid State Driver's License in the state you wish to work in
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and reference check
  • Must have 10 years of legal driving experience
  • A strong safety mindset and strong reasoning ability
  • Ability to give clear instruction, coach, communicate effectively to others
  • Ability to focus for extended periods of time
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time in a vehicle
  • Must be able to see and hear during all weather conditions
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, touch, feel
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
