Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

INTEGRIS Health, Oklahoma's largest not-for-profit health system, is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our Diagnostic Radiology team in Woodward, OK.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to provide exceptional care to our patients. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment, performing a wide range of technical procedures, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform general ultrasound procedures, including 2D, pulsed wave Doppler, and color flow Doppler evaluations.
  • Review in-patient requisitions and prioritize patient lists based on severity of illness, special procedures, and equipment availability.
  • Develop film by automatic processing and manipulate laser printers and processors to obtain high-quality images.
  • Perform daily quality control checks on processors and generate monthly reports of results.
  • Manage the procurement, storage, and routing of supplies for room preparation.
  • Ensure reusable instruments are delivered to the appropriate department for sterilization.
Requirements:
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain current RDMS, RDCS, or RVT certification within 12 months of hire date.
  • Successful completion of an Allied Health post-secondary education program or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Current CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (written/verbal).
Work Environment:

Exposed to moveable equipment, chemical fumes from processors, patients with contagious diseases, electrical equipment, ionizing radiation, and contamination or infection through accidental needle puncture or exposure to blood and/or body fluids.

Occasional exposures to odor, blood, chemical irritation, and a variety of constant interruption, frequent emergency call back causing erratic working hours and overtime, and works in a darkened room up to 60% of the time.
