Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. This role involves providing exceptional care to patients across various settings.

Certification Requirements
  • DPT is preferred.
Job Responsibilities
  • As a licensed health care professional, you will assist patients in alleviating pain and enhancing mobility.
  • You will assess each patient individually and formulate a tailored treatment plan aimed at improving movement, minimizing discomfort, restoring functionality, and preventing disabilities.
  • Care will be provided in diverse environments, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, private practices, and more.
Qualifications
  • State licensure is mandatory in all states where you practice.
  • A minimum of one year of inpatient experience is required (excluding student clinicals).
  • The ability to work independently is essential, as you will be the sole PT provider in the inpatient environment.
  • Familiarity with CMS skilled criteria and medical necessity guidelines is necessary.
Work Schedule
  • Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • No weekend shifts are required.
Unit Specific Information
  • Experience with the Meditech documentation system is beneficial.
  • Patients will range from pediatrics to geriatrics.
