About the Role

As a Behavior Technician at Centria Autism, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with autism.

In this role, you will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

We are seeking candidates who are passionate about helping children with autism reach their full potential and are committed to delivering high-quality care.

We provide comprehensive training to ensure you have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role, even if you don't currently have experience.

Children with autism can be unpredictable and potentially confrontational, so this role requires a strong sense of resilience and adaptability.

As a Behavior Technician, you will be required to stand, walk, sit, grasp, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, squat, lift, and at times carry children or objects that weigh up to 50 pounds.

At the end of each day, you will go home knowing that you have made a positive impact on the life of a child and their family.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA
  • Work one-on-one with children with autism
  • Provide high-quality care and support to children and their families
  • Participate in comprehensive training and professional development opportunities
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
Requirements
  • Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the last year)
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care and support to children and their families
