Join Our Esteemed Healthcare Team
Novant Health University Family Physicians is thrilled to expand our exceptional primary care team by welcoming a new Primary Care Physician. We are seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine Physicians to contribute to a practice that has been dedicated to serving our community for over 25 years.
Our current team comprises 9 physicians, 5 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and a robust support staff, including Clinical Medical Assistants (CMAs), nurses, a referral coordinator, and a pharmacist.
Our office operates Monday through Friday and features an onsite urgent care clinic available seven days a week, ensuring our patients receive timely and dependable healthcare whenever they need it.

At Novant, accessibility is paramount. We promote same-day appointments, extended hours, e-visits, and video consultations to provide care where and when our patients require it.
All of our community medicine physician leaders maintain an active patient panel, allowing them to stay connected to the daily challenges and rewards of practicing medicine.
Many of our clinics adopt a collaborative approach to care, incorporating PAs, NPs, clinical pharmacy practitioners, health behaviorists, and RNs.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- For specialty physicians, completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to the medical specialty
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Current MD or DO license in the appropriate state
- Board certification or eligibility
- Current DEA license required
