Job Title: Automotive Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Karl Malone Chevrolet Toyota El Dorado. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting customers through the timely repair and delivery of their vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform duties per repair order with efficiency and accuracy, including the repair of vehicle automotive systems such as engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Test a vehicle's components and systems using necessary test drives, diagnostic tools, and special service equipment.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor regarding the vehicle's status and any additional needs, providing estimates for additional repairs as necessary.
  • Complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed or needed.
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to prescribed safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Strong automotive background and skills in teamwork and communication.
  • Valid driver's license free from major infractions.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to see tasks through to completion.
  • Prompt and courteous service.
