We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Psychiatrist Supervisor to join our team at California Correctional Health Care Services. As a key member of our psychiatric treatment team, you will be responsible for developing, overseeing, and directing the quality and operations of Physician Services within psychiatry for the treatment of individuals housed at Salinas Valley State Prison.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs
- Supervise and mentor junior psychiatrists and mental health professionals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Conduct regular quality assurance and improvement activities
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based treatments in psychiatry
- Board certification in psychiatry
- Minimum 5 years of experience in psychiatric treatment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
